Schron Backs Dolan for State Senate!
For Immediate release - May 19, 2015

Yesterday, 6th District County Councilman and former Cuyahoga County Executive candidate Jack Schron endorsed Matt Dolan's campaign for State Senate at a campaign event on the east side of the County.

"After getting to know Matt through my work throughout Cuyahoga County, I firmly believe that Matt has the principled leadership that can lead our county and state forward," said Jack Schron. "Matt understands what being a public servant truly means and he has the values, education and experience to serve the people of the 24th Ohio Senate District well in Columbus."

"Jack leads from the front with honesty and integrity and that's why I'm proud to have his support," said Dolan. "The people of Northeastern Ohio deserve transparent and principled leadership, and as your State Senator, I'll fight at the Statehouse for legislation that will strengthen our education system, improve job creation and workforce training, and protect and preserve the crown jewel of our natural resources, Lake Erie."  Dolan concluded.

Dolan and Schron joined a packed house for a grassroots kick-off event on the east-side of the County last night.

As Cuyahoga County Councilman of the 6th District, Schron represents the eastern portion of the 24th state senate district. This includes the cities of Brecksville, Broadview Heights, Independence, Mayfield Heights, Seven Hills, and Solon; the villages of Bentleyville, Brooklyn Heights, Chagrin Falls, Gates Mills, Glenwillow, Hunting Valley, Mayfield, Moreland Hills, Oakwood, Valley View, and Walton Hills; as well as Chagrin Falls Township.  Click here for a full list of endorsements for Matt Dolan

Campaign Endorsement Announcement!

Ohio Secretary of State Endorses Dolan for 24th State Senate

I am proud to announce today that my friend and former colleague in the state legislature, Secretary of State Jon Husted, joins others in endorsing my candidacy for the State Senate.

Secretary Husted previously was a member of the Ohio Senate, representing Ohio’s 6th District. He served in the Ohio House from 2001-2009 where he presided as Speaker of the Ohio House for four years. Again, I am thrilled to have his support. See Secretary Husted's comments below.

"Today, I am happy to announce my support for Matt Dolan who is running for State Senate. Above all, Matt cares about the constituents of the 24th District and Northeast Ohio. It is not about politics to Matt, it's about helping people and solving problems. Matt Dolan is a proven leader who understands the issues affecting the 24th District and knows how to tackle them head on and get things done."
